Protect & Shine
Your pet's dental health journey with Luna starts with a free dental health check-up carried out by one of our qualified veterinary nurses. During the consultation, we'll check your pet's teeth as thoroughly as possible, taking photos and videos to help us highlight any areas of concern.

Once we've got a good understanding of your pet's dental condition, we'll discuss next steps, including routine dental care such as brushing, dental hygiene gels and supplements, as well as a Protect & Shine hygiene procedure if required.

After your initial check up, we may recommend a Luna Protect & Shine hygiene procedure. This is a full dental assessment (including digital x-rays) and cleaning procedure carried out by our vets under a general anaesthetic, designed to allow us to fully investigate any dental issues and bring your pet's teeth into great condition.
​
If any significant dental issues are uncovered during your pets' Protect & Shine procedure, we will discuss these with you and advise the best course of action which can include a follow up dental procedure for extractions and repairs.
​
Once we've got your pet's teeth into a healthy condition, we help you keep them that way, with a program of at home preventative care and regular check-ups in clinic.
At the heart of this process is the Luna Dental Health Club which is our exclusive membership program for Luna clients. As a member you'll get everything you need to care for your pet's teeth at home, plus amazing discounts on routine and therapeutic dental procedures.
